This cookbook is just a fun humorous cookbook but make sure as the consumer you are not seriously looking for actual recipes。 These are just mostly silly ideas that came from the cartoon and over simplified to create in real life。 I can see giving this as a gift to a true simpsons fan but nothing other than that。

The most fun cookbook you will ever purchase! Tons of Simpson recipes brought to real life。 Who hasn’t watched an episode and wondered what a recipe would taste like? Now you can try!

The Unofficial Simpsons Cookbook by Laurel Randolph is a colourful and bold book。 Set into sections of breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, dessert and drinks。 Each secretion has a small selection of recipes。 It has classics like Krusty Burgers and Sloppy Jimbos, Floor Pie and Flaming Moes。 The recipes are easy to follow and seem nice, though maybe not for everyday use。 There’s a lack of pictures which I think is disappointing but otherwise a great book。 Thank you netgalley for letting me read this The Unofficial Simpsons Cookbook by Laurel Randolph is a colourful and bold book。 Set into sections of breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, dessert and drinks。 Each secretion has a small selection of recipes。 It has classics like Krusty Burgers and Sloppy Jimbos, Floor Pie and Flaming Moes。 The recipes are easy to follow and seem nice, though maybe not for everyday use。 There’s a lack of pictures which I think is disappointing but otherwise a great book。 Thank you netgalley for letting me read this。 。。。more

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of The Unofficial Simpsons Cookbook。I've been a fan of The Simpsons since it debuted on The Tracey Ullman show。 And, no, I'm not going to tell you how old I am。I was thrilled to receive an ARC and I love all the jokes, the puns, the references to the episodes, I laughed when I read the foreword and the blurbs before a recipe。Jokes aside, the recipes are nothing to write home about。 The photos are not visually appealing; in fact, they're quite plain and not s Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of The Unofficial Simpsons Cookbook。I've been a fan of The Simpsons since it debuted on The Tracey Ullman show。 And, no, I'm not going to tell you how old I am。I was thrilled to receive an ARC and I love all the jokes, the puns, the references to the episodes, I laughed when I read the foreword and the blurbs before a recipe。Jokes aside, the recipes are nothing to write home about。 The photos are not visually appealing; in fact, they're quite plain and not something you would see on Instagram or want to post。Most of the recipes are pretty straight forward and simple; others require a few more steps。I did like the inclusion of a drinks section where you can find familiar cocktails like a Flaming Moe。This would make an awesome gift for a Simpsons fan but I wouldn't use any of these recipes for a dinner party。 。。。more

I received a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review。This was a surprisingly standard recipe book。 There aren't a lot of pictures, and the pictures there are are of real life food, not cartoon-y Simpsons food。 There are donuts, waffles, chili, spaghetti, and other pretty standard foods。 The book lists what episode each food is from, but there's not much Simpson-y touches beyond that。It's an interesting idea that may appeal to die hard fans of the series。 I received a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review。This was a surprisingly standard recipe book。 There aren't a lot of pictures, and the pictures there are are of real life food, not cartoon-y Simpsons food。 There are donuts, waffles, chili, spaghetti, and other pretty standard foods。 The book lists what episode each food is from, but there's not much Simpson-y touches beyond that。It's an interesting idea that may appeal to die hard fans of the series。 。。。more

I received this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review。I really love how bright and colorful this cookbook is。 I also love how it's divided up into different meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks, and desserts。 I loved the Simpsons when I was younger, so I'm really excited to try some of these recipes。 They're simply laid out and have really easy instructions, so that is really nice and helpful。 I also really like how each recipe says which season or episode it came from I received this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review。I really love how bright and colorful this cookbook is。 I also love how it's divided up into different meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks, and desserts。 I loved the Simpsons when I was younger, so I'm really excited to try some of these recipes。 They're simply laid out and have really easy instructions, so that is really nice and helpful。 I also really like how each recipe says which season or episode it came from so that I can go back and watch them if I want to。 。。。more

What an whimsical idea for a cookbook! When I saw the title I was practically drooling like Homer at a plate of donuts。The recipes inside the cookbook definitely evoke all my fond memories of The Simpsons and call back to all sorts of different episodes。 This would be a cute series of cookbooks potentially if there are more candidates (Flintstones, Jetsons, Family Guy, South Park)The recipes actually contained inside are on the simpler side though a few are more extravagant and gourmet。 The real What an whimsical idea for a cookbook!
